Local Rules

1. ALL NOTICES ON THE COURSE MUST BE OBSERVED


2. OUT OF BOUNDS:

Beyond any course boundary fence, hedge or ditch and on any part of the paved or planted areas around the Clubhouse not prepared as part of the course. Also:

1st: On or over the path at the at the side of the tee and to the left of the white posts and beyond the path to the right as defined by white posts.
2nd: To the left of the white posts.
4th: To the left of the white posts.
5th: To the left of the white posts.
6th: On or beyond the path to the left of the green
between the white posts.
18th: On or Beyond the path on the left. On or beyond the path at the side of the first tee in the area up to the first white post defining out of bounds on the first hole.

3. WATER HAZARDS

All ditches and ponds are WATER or LATERAL WATER HAZARDS and are identified by the following:

YELLOW POSTS define WATER HAZARDS.

RED POSTS define LATERAL WATER HAZARDS.

4. PATHS

All paths are deemed to be immovable obstructions and relief can be taken under Rule 24-2b(i) IN ADDITION, if a ball lies on the path to the left of the 5th green and 6th tee and the nearest point of relief is to the left of the path towards the course boundary, then the ball may be dropped in the designated dropping zone front left of the 5th putting green.


5. POP-UP SPRINKLER SYSTEM

Sprinkler heads and hydrant boxes are immovable obstructions and relive can be taken under Rule 24-2b(i). Additionally, if a ball lies within one club length of a sprinkler head which is on the line of play to the hole it may be lifter cleaned and dropped in a place which is:

a) The nearest point of relief from the obstruction, but:
b) Not nearer the hole.
c) Not on the putting green.
d) Not in a hazard or bunker.

6. PRACTICE GREEN

A ball landing on the practice putting green must be lifted and dropped in accordance with Rule 25-3 – Wrong Putting Green.

7. STONES IN BUNKER

Loose stones in bunker are movable obstructions.

8. WOODEN SLEEPERS

On the 1st, 3rd and 7th tee and all wooden steps to tees are immovable obstructions and relief may be taken under Rule 24-2b.

9. BALL OUTSIDE OF COURSE BOUNDARY

Any player whose ball leaves the course boundary MUST inform the Secretary, Professional or Member of the Handicap committee without delay.
